Participles : relaxing or relaxed ?

 Dear friends!
Let's practice grammar today! The talking point is using present and past participles which are often confused.

We can use present  (relaxing) and past (relaxed) participles as adjectives. But we have to choose the correct form.

The present participle ( - ing ) describes what somebody or something is and answers the question “What kind ? "

The past participle (-ed) describes how somebody feels and answers the question “How do you feel?”

Examples:
Did you enjoy the horror film?
No, it was frightening.

I was very pleased that you decided to join us.

Do you like pop music?
No, I find it  boring.

He was very  excited at the party yesterday .
